The GloWear 8366 lightweight Hi-Vis rain jacket is designed with waterproof materials (150D polyester oxford with a polyurethane (PU) coating) and fully taped seams for reliable protection in the face of stormy weather. This lightweight reflective rain jacket easily fits over workwear without sacrificing mobility. Fully taped seams are bonded to the jacket to keep water from sneaking in, while a vented cape-back allows heat and moisture to escape for added breathability. An attached drawstring hood can be stowed away when not needed. Reflective tape on chest and arms adds visibility at night or in low-light conditions. It’s the perfect lightweight waterproof work jacket for those working in road construction, utilities, construction, emergency response, airline, railway or survey crews. This isn’t a wear-me-all-day jacket, but you could, if you needed to. It is an excellent throw-me-on-at-a-moment’s-notice jacket. Long-term wear in the heat might sweat you out, but if you need to get something done in the rain without soaking to your drawers, this is a good, inexpensive option. It would be easy to roll it up and store it in a roadside emergency kit, or keep in a work locker. The Hi-viz is exactly that. HIGH visibility.

This is an excellent rain jacket for the money. It has an ID pocket, store-away hood, zipper and snaps, and venting! I love it for when I need something light to keep me dry, but I don’t want to spend 5 minutes getting all my gear on. You can throw it on, get the job done, and take it right back off again. Lightweight, and a lot of jacket for the money. If you have to exert a lot of energy on a warm day, you will end up sweating in it, but its perfect for some light to medium duty work. Love it.

Nice and light fitting, I actually forgot I was wearing it at one point. I don’t think I’ve ever said that about rain gear before! It has a large vent, hidden across the shoulder blades.
4 stars. Points deducted for not having cord locks on the hood strings.
