The 212 Performance’s Fire Resistance Fabricator Glove is the must have work glove in any metal fabricator’s or handyman’s toolbox. This heavy-duty glove features a multi-layer construction of fire resistant materials topped with a premium goatskin leather covering across the palm and down the insides and around the tips of the fingers. The adjustable cuff enclosure conforms for a snug fit to keep sparks and debris out of the glove while still ensuring a comfortable fit. An extra layer of padding covers the knuckles on the back of the hand and provides increased impact protection. In addition to being abrasion and heat resistant the premium goatskin palm also provides ANSI/ISEA level 2 cut resistance against sharp materials might be encountered. Nice set of gloves with an adequate fit that is snug and a close fit. Doesn’t have a bulk to it so therefore it isn’t oversized and overly big. The texture is nice and has a good layer of protection for your fingers and hands.
I love these gloves for my outdoor home tasks. I recently used these for cutting the grass. Easy to hold the handle bar of the push mower and still have protection from branches and such. While using the riding mower I was able to grab the steering wheel comfortably with these gloves. I used a rake and a weed trimmer and was comfortable to hold both tools well.
Overall a good set of gloves with a nice rugged and heavy duty look to them. I highly encourage anyone to have these available for when you’re doing light to medium duty tasks around the house.

Really like these gloves. Nicely padded palms with leather palm helps with grip and the back is very flexible and breathes nicely. Haven’t used them for long, so don’t know about wear, but out of the box, they’re really nice. Love to use them for heavier work around the outside of the house (not gardening).

I ordered the 212 Performance Mens Leather Palm Gloves and tested them out by removing two very prickly evergreen trees that did not like direct sun light and were dying. Many of the prickly leaves had fallen off but there was still plenty left to stick me if I let them.
I ordered the gloves in medium and I found they fit my hands perfectly. They did not extend much past my wrists and they have a strap to hold the gloves perfectly in place. They are not yet broken in but I was able to bend my fingers and make a fist without any trouble. The leather thickness in some gloves can hinder making a fist but not these. The back part of the glove is covered in a breathable material that is supposed to be fire resistant and there is a strip of woven in padding that goes across the back of the hand to protect knuckles from impact and scrape injuries. I have not tested the fire resistance but will keep my hands away from fire as usual.
The gloves worked great in my initial test of removing the two trees. I am very pleased with them!

These are really nice leather palm gloves. The nylon combination makes them breathable and not too hot. I have smaller hands, and the medium do actually “fit like a glove.”

These gloves are for real grown ups. They are comfortable, well fitting and durable. I’ve already used for raking and when I needed to haul bricks into the back yard. The bottom some soft leather and the top is that stretchy, athletic fabric, so if you are a female, but used to wearing gloves with a little extra room, size up one from the women’s size you normally wear. You will not be disappointed. I can only see these getting better with age and use once the leather softens a little.
