I already own a few higher-end heated pieces, but I wanted to introduce a couple of friends to heated gear as well. I bought 2 pairs and gave these as gifts, and they loved them. If you want to try what heated clothing feels like but don’t want to spend too much money in case you won’t like it, this is a great option to try.

Thought they’d last longer but I’m still happy with them and would buy again. I just turn them on and off to stay comfortable. Trick is to turn them on before your freezing. They seem to work better that way for me.

My feet freeze when i’m out hunting, so I thought I’d try these out. They heat up my feet, but the batteries give up the ghost after a couple of hours, so I need to keep putting in fresh ones to keep warm. That’s okay for a day or two of hunting, but it’ll get expensive the more I wear these socks.

You’re better off buying insole heat packs to stick inside your shoes than relying on the battery pack to heat up the entire sock. I didn’t feel a significant amount of heat from the socks. I’d suggest with just sticking with heat packs for more usage. I’ll still keep these socks in my car for emergencies.

I recently received the heated socks that are powered by 3 AA batteries each. They’ re made of a very luxurious fabric. I wear men’s size 10 shoes and the L/XL size is a perfect fit. I was a little concerned that the battery packs might feel too heavy, but they’ re not even noticeable when in use. I’ve only used the socks once so far, during the recent cold spell here in the northeast, but they provided just the right warmth inside my boots. Because the socks are slightly bulky, you might want to wear them with shoes or boots that are a half size larger than you would wear using normal socks. The included care instructions say to spot clean only, so I emailed customer service asking what to do if the socks get dirty or sweaty. They replied quickly that it’s OK to hand wash in water with a gentle soap, and to lay flat to dry (but not to place in the dryer). Delivery took a few weeks, a bit longer than expected, but not a big deal for me.

I sometimes must ride my motorcycle in sub-30 degree weather for 3 hours or so, and previous attempts at avoiding frozen feet and toes included using exothermic insoles like “Toasty Toes” and, naturally, extra thick socks designed for hunters and the like. Neither approach proved successful, so it was with some trepidation that I decided to try a pair of these.
I am happy to report that they worked quite nicely. At first, putting on my boots with the socks already powered up (since I could not reach the power switches when my pants were on) I was a little concerned, in that I had hoped to feel a blush of warmth which did not happen. However, after three hours riding in temperatures that ranged from the low 20’s to below 14 degrees (I don’t know how much lower, as the readout on my dash just turned to hyphens below 14) my feet were completely comfortable.
Can’t get better than that! I guess longer battery life would be nice, but since it uses AA batteries for longer trips it would be a matter of replacing the batteries themselves – meaning, at lesat in my case, the need to undress to reach the battery packs tucked into the tops f the socks. But that’s a small price to pay for comfortable feet in really cold circumstances.

I’ve never gotten this excited over socks before but all I can say it WOW. They’re comfortable and warm up fast. They switch on and off really easily and don’t burn your toes when sittingg or standing up. I always have extra batteries around for these bad boys.

I ordered these in S/M and they fit. I were a sz 9 1/2 in a running shoe. I have used these several times during cold weather skiing. The battery pack fits well above the top of ski boot. I do not feel the wires when wearing the socks. And, these socks keep my feet from bing cold! I have been using them on Low setting to save power. I can not feel much warmthe at this settign, but the goal is to not have cold feet and these do the trick!!

I have not used these out in sub 0 temperatures as of yet but once I saw the video on the web site on how to synch the remote to the insoles they seemed to work well. Took a while to heat up but got there eventually. Will see how long the batteries last this weekend. Directions need to be inclusive as there was not mention on hoe to connect the remote to the insoles. Had to find a video on their website to figure this out

Really comfy wool socks. Not itchy at all. Wish the batteries lasted longer, but they don’t recharge. maybe I should buy some rechargable ones? Can’t beat the price of these socks. Mom bought me these for xmas (yeah, still getting socks for xmas!) but I have to say, it was a good choice. wore them tailgating and didn’t notice my toes freezing like I usually do, to I have to say that’s a win!

Im a runner and we had a cold snap in the middle of my training for a marathon, so I put on these socks to see if they would keep my toes from becoming icicles. They did! I wouldn’t wear them all the time, but occassinally they are good.

I really love these socks. My wife got them for me for christmas last winter and I gotta say that after few months of heavy use they still function like if I just got them out out of the box
