I bought a black and a brown belt for my 15 yr old grandson to wear with his school uniform. I wanted quality leather belts and these do not disappoint.
I have ordered these belts several years ago for him, and they are still in fantastic condition despite being worn daily! He has slimmed up, so we took his older, larger belts to a leather smith and had extra holes punched in them. He kept the older belts for outdoors and work wear. He did not want to depart with them!

So far so good with the black anvil belt, seems to be of higher quality than most of the store bought belts I normally buy even though it’s made in India. Looks like I finally found a decent belt for work and daily wear that looks good and is tough.

Bought this model of belt to replace a similar one that broke after many years of use. The build quality was noticeably poorer this time around. Also, the belt was in stock, but it took Carhartt five days. FIVE. DAYS. Just to put one belt in a bag and ship it to me.
I purchased this direct instead of through a third party retailer as I have enjoyed Carhartt’s products in the past and wanted to support them directly, but doing so was a relatively large inconvenience, with a disappointing result.

This is the second Anvil belt. It seems like my new belt is a little bit wider. It is difficult to run the belt through the loops on my jeans, (they are the same jeans that I had with the old belt). I have to turn the leading edge sideways to get it through the buckle. I’ve only worn the belt a couple of times
and it is already showing signs of wear.

It is a good belt, ordered two 38″ one was shorter than the other. But will keep it, and give the other away. But as good as the Amish belts I’ve owned in the past but still better than what’s available in stores. Thanks

i ordered my waist size a 38. I have to squeeze into the last hole. barely. so this belt is no good i guess I need a 42 or 44 to fit a 38

Good quality. It is quite “wide” – hard to slide out of pants as it is fully tight with belt loop height.

I’m a comfortable 33-34inch waist. I ordered a 36inch and it was too small (gave it to my son). I reordered a 38 and it fits – of the 5 holes provided – i use the one in the middle comfortably…..so order up. I was surprised

Great classic belt. Carhartt belts are the only belts that last. Only belts I wear now.

This use to be a really good belt so I decided to buy another one which I got my first belt 2 years ago. I’m surprised on how cheaply they are made now totally disappointed in the quality. Glue coming apart size and information printed on not pressed in like before. This new one is made in India and the good one was made in Guatemala.
