Really enjoy these; have several pair now. Easy to move in, comfortable. Side pocket just right for iPhone or other tools. And they look nice if I need to go to town.

My husband loves these pants and they look so nice on him. I highly recommend them !

Excellent. Just wonder why that size is not in stores anymore. Highly inconvenient is all. I’m use to just going to a store and buying what I need is all.

These are very nice. Well made & comfortable. I were them mostly for work around the house. They look nice enough that I can wear them anywhere. They are more comfortable than blue jeans and I expect more durable. I expect that I will be buying more of these.

I liked everything about them and will be ordering again.

I own several of the MEN’S UTILITY WORK PANT-RELAXED FIT-TWILL and purchased the MEN’S 5-POCKET PANT-RELAXED FIT-RUGGED FLEX® -CANVAS to replace the worn-out utility pants. I find the canvas pants more comfortable, especially during the summer months. Both pants are of good value and are worth the purchase. I have not found any other work pants that are as durable or as comfortable

Hi, woman here. Haven’t tested durability, but they’re in the top 5 best fitting pairs of pants I’ve ever owned. (That’s a great feat, if you don’t know.) If you’re buying without trying them on, SIZE UP. I’m normally a 26-27 inch waist, but of course men’s pants only go as low as a 28. So I went into my local workwear store to find some pants, and the only pair in these went down to, you guessed it, a 28. I was skeptical but decided to try them on. They’re almost *perfect*. Fit way better than the “women’s pants” they had in the store, and has a *very* minimal waist gap. Would definitely recommend for the comfort and fit, and honestly- they’re pretty flattering too. Added bonus. The best thing about them? Actual DEEP pockets. + a bonus tool pocket.
Here’s to hoping they hold up to being worn 4+ days a week.

This review is more for Carhartt to learn from than for other buyers.
I think the phone pocket should be deeper and maybe a bit tighter. I realize phones come in many sizes but I would bet the typical Carhartt patron does not want their phone falling out whether driving, in the yard or on the job site. Also, sizing should be looked at because I moved from 34 waist to 35 waist to wear them higher on my hips and though there is more volume in the seat, the waist is no larger than my 34s?
I still love Carhartt but this last pair was a bit disappointing.

My first impression is favorable. The pants fit as well as Carhartt pants fit me. For some reason, the waists of Carharrt pants become more loose fitting throughout the day for me but an inch smaller waist is too tight. It would be helpful if Carharrt installed an inside tab buttonhole and button to keep their pants from sliding down my hips. I’m pleased these pants are available in a 33-inch waist because 34″ is impossible. The fabric seems as though it will be durable but it’s too early to tell. I prefer the flex of these pants to the traditional Carharrt work pants but I expect these pants will not be as durable as traditional Carharrt work pants. I haven’t laundered them yet.

The fit is great, and I like the light weight. The phone pocket is on the back of the leg, and not very usable or comfortable if you sit with a phone in the pocket. But, overall, I am satisfied and would purchase these pants again.

Great pants. I bought two pair same size same cut. One pair fits a little tight and the other pair fits a bit loose. Both pair are 36 waist and 32 inseam. I would recommend trying them on if possible before purchasing. It seems sizing has been inconsistent over the past several years but other than that, I really like this product.

My very favorite work pants. Office appropriate but with the durable feel of canvas and the secure pocket openings of 5-pocket jeans that keep things from falling out. I finally need to replace a worn out pair, and I’m dismayed and baffled to see that of all colors, Carhartt has discontinued basic black.
This was the one Carhartt pant I still really wanted after downgrades to the old standard and flannel-lined jeans. Deeply annoyed that now I’ll need to spend good work pant money on some other worse option.

I found these pants for work. They are very comfortable and easy to keep clean. There is plenty of room to kneel and squat without them bunching up on the family jewels. There are plenty of colors to choose from. I don’t think anyone would be disappointed in these pants.

I bought these because I loved the same pants I purchased a couple years ago. I was disappointed because there seem to be some shortcuts that will likely impact quality down the road. First, to me the fit is the same. They always feel tight on me at first but loosen up as I wear them. To that end, they seem to fit the same as the others I have. Second, material seems the same thankfully.
Issues: They changed the stitching down the outside of the pant leg. They inverted it to use fewer rows of stitches which I think looks bad/could impact durability (only time will tell but I preferred the prior look). The pockets are now sewn so that when I put my hand inside the pocket, it’s a rougher material/design that harshly rubs the back of my hand. It’s a different design than before. The stitched seem inside the pocket is thicker which matters because now there is an obvious pocket shaped line that can be seen through the pants and will likely wear faster. Belt loops are thinner too.

My wife got me this latest pair for Christmas because she knows she can’t go wrong with them as a present. These pants are tough yet very comfortable. I used to be a Levis only guy, but I haven’t bought a pair of those in quite a while. The side pocket on the Rugged Flex Relaxed Fit pants seals the deal, as it is so, sooooo convenient for putting the cell phone in, making sure you don’t accidently sit on it and possibly crack it in your back pocket. Definite ‘5 Star’ pants!

Compared to blue jeans the Carhartt are much more comfortable and a lot more flexible when bending over. At first I didn’t think I would use the side cellphone pocket, but now I’ve come to like it a lot also, much better than using a back pocket of blue jeans.
The other thing I liked about ordering Carhartt online is that I can order the inseam length I need, 28″.
Now that summer is coming I will have to try the shorts.

These are great pants, aside from the phone pocket, which 1. doesn’t fit an iPhone 12 (???) and 2. required a bulky seam of additional folded fabric inside the pant leg, the corner of which sticks into your leg in an irritating way. Hoping the fabric breaks in, otherwise I will have to tack the seam down somehow. More to the point, the fact it doesn’t fit a normal phone from 3-4 years ago, and my other Carhartt pants with the same pocket (the lined version of this pant) DO fit my phone…is just wild. As for fit, I am 5’10” 175lbs with an average build, and I purchased 33/30. They fit well-not as baggy as what I would consider “relaxed” but not slim, either. More of a “straight fit” like a Levis 501.
