This hat has proved itself useful when working in full sun on some hot days. There are a few nice features, like the optional snaps to pin up the sides for improved hearing or air flow. For me the strap is a little bit in the way, but that’s easy to put behind your neck if you want. The vents are a nice feature, allowing for some much needed air flow. The sweat band inside doesn’t hold its shape very well, but is very comfortable. Overall, a nice wide-brim sun hat to keep from getting burned.

I cant believe how light this hat feels. The material is nice and soft and the mesh breathes so well your head stays nice and cool. The removable chin strap is nice because you can easily take it on or off with the clips. I love the adjustable nylon head strap cus you can make it nice and tight or keep it loose. The head band material actually dries out in a few hours so when you go to put it on the next day it’s not still wet from the day before.

I got this hat a few weeks ago and I love it! It keeps me cool. The moisture wicking band works so well to keep sweat from getting in my eyes. It keeps the sun off my face, which also helps my stay a bit cooler. Since it has an adjustable cord it fits my head great! I really like how lightweight the hat is, too.

This has turned out to be a wonderful hat. A very wide brim and mesh panels keep my head in the shady without sacrificing catching any breezes. Folds up easily into a pocket when not required. An all around good lid!

I love this hat. It’s big, it looks great and it’s breathable. This hat does a great job keeping the sun off and it’s light weight. The top has some mesh that keeps your head cool and from dropping beads of sweat all over your face. The draw string keeps it secured on your noggin and there’s a back strap to adjust the size. This is a great option. I would totally recommend this hat to everyone. It’s def a good addition to your work gear or hat collection.

This hat is superbly built, well-ventilated, and has a brim big enough to land a C-130 on. The chinstrap might be a touch longer than it needs to be, but it isn’t obtrusive. The brim structure is not as floppy as a bucket hat, but not as stiff as a western hat, which allows for a little push-and-pull when getting the right shape, and the side snaps will have you swapping back and forth between GI Joe and an Australian crocodile wrestler all day long, so be mindful and try to stay on task.

So the chill-its ranger hat. This hat has nice features I like, and is multifunctional. I use this while working to keep the sun out of my face when I am outdoors, while working in the yard, and while fishing. It is light weight, yet well constructed. I have a few cheap boonie hats that i had used previously that just don’t match up. I like the mesh on the top, which allows the hat to breathe, and especially like the detachable string, as I usually am limited to either tucking it up under the hat or cutting the strings off. It is definitely a good investment if you like this style of hat. My only complaint is there are only two color choices. I’d like to see a black one in the future.
